About Lavender Abbey

Our mission is to provide our customers quality lavender products, with a personal touch, at affordable prices.

Lavender Abbey is the creation of Jan and Stuart Abernethy. We fell in love with lavender and its huge range of uses, after moving to the Wairarapa in 2008.

Every year, on our spray-free lavender farm, we tend to more than 2,000 plants on our seven-acre property, a job that typically starts in spring and finishes in February when the flower crop is harvested and made into our Gold and Silver consecutive award-winning lavender 100% pure essential oil.  Using our lavender pure essential oil, we create a variety of natural lavender products which support health and wellness.

The best thing about our NZ made lavender products?  The fact they’re made from high-quality, unspoilt lavender grown in some of the world’s best quality soil in the freshest New Zealand air and sunshine.  You just can’t beat it.
