About Lavender Abbey
Lavender Abbey is the creation of Jan and Stuart Abernethy. We fell in love with lavender – and its huge range of uses – after moving to the Wairarapa in 2008.
Every year we tend to more than 2,000 plants on our seven-acre property – a job that typically starts in spring and finishes in February when the 500kg flower crop is harvested and made into our award-winning lavender pure essential oil. Using our lavender pure essential oil, we make a range of natural products.
The best thing about our products?
The fact they’re made from high-quality, unspoilt lavender grown in some of the world’s best quality soil in the freshest New Zealand air and sunshine. You just can’t beat it.
